Our Humboldt terrarium is a tribute to classic terrariums. This terrarium features a repeating design on the base with four symmetric curved arches that can act as a framing device for your plantings. The top of the terrarium is a neoclassical roof design that comes together in a point and provides plenty of extra height for planting.
Each of our terrariums are handmade using traditional stained glass techniques.

This terrarium is named for Alexander Von Humboldt(1769-1859). Considered the ‘father of ecology’ and ‘the father of environmentalism’, Humboldt was a scientist, who extensively explored the Americas and scientifically documented the plant and animal life of the Americas in 22 volumes. Humboldt developed a deep understanding of the interconnected nature of ecology and attempted to deceive the ‘Unity of Nature’.
