Arched Wardian Case Terrarium

I based this design off of traditional Victorian terrariums or Wardian Cases as they were known at the time. The Neo Classical arch design is done in a blue and green art glass. The top of the case is based on the architecture of greenhouses from the Victorian era as well. 

The glass lifts off of the wooden base for easy planting or displays, and includes a liner. 

All of my terrariums are handmade using traditional stained glass techniques. Each piece is designed and built by hand in my small Michigan studio.
